Athena settles into her new car seat
Deputy Jon Burleson spoke with 7-Eleven employee Martha Booker and learned she needed a new car set for her 1-year-old daughter, Athena, who outgrew her infant carrier.
Burleson obtained Booker’s phone number for a new car seat and forwarded the number to Deputy Laura Enright of the Community Services Unit.
Enright met with parents Tony and Martha Booker and the Sheriff’s Office provided a new car seat for Athena. Enright showed the parents how to safely and correctly install the child seat.
Car seat checks are available to the families at the Sheriff’s Office and provided at no cost. Please contact Sgt. Gary Herron or Enright to schedule a car seat check at 615-904-3065.
Athena, 1, settles into her new car seat with parents Tony and Martha Booker. Deputy Laura Enright will help parents ensure the child seats are safely and correctly installed.
