Memorializing Dickson County Sgt. Daniel Baker
Dickson County Sgt. Daniel Baker helped others with random acts of kindness he described as the “Baker Policy.” Sgt. Baker was killed in the line-of-duty May 30, 2018. To memorialize him, his widow, Lisa, started a drive for random acts of kindness called the “Baker Policy.” Family and friends remember Sgt. Baker on his birthday, April 23 by giving to others under the “Baker Policy.” Baker’s sister-in-law, Amanda Hammond and her son, Cash, delivered donuts to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office last week as part of the “Baker Policy.” We were humbled to accept the donuts as part of the “Baker Policy” legacy.
Sgt. Baker, we will always remember your sacrifice of giving your life in the line-of-duty. We honor Lisa and your daughter, Meredith, and Amanda and Cash and a myriad of friends for maintaining your “Baker Policy.”
