Rutherford County Schools’ special needs students shine at prom

A St. Patrick’s Day theme greeted Rutherford County Schools’ special needs students who enjoyed their prom Friday at Smyrna Event Center.

Expressions of joy shone from their faces as they danced, sang and clapped to the music.

They wore prom dresses and tuxes and green glasses and flashing rings.

Sheriff’s SROs joined the students in celebrating their special day.
