The Lady Vols capped off the ICON Invitational with an impressive third round on Tuesday, shooting -8 as a team to move up two spots to finish the tournament in 11th place (+1, 865) out of the 16-team field.
 
Tennessee's 18-hole score of 280 in the final round ties for the lowest single-round team score this season. The Big Orange also shot 280 in the second round of the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah in October.
 
Caroline Patterson carded an impressive 69 after only tallying a single bogey in the final 18 holes, notching the second-lowest round and fourth round of par or better of her young collegiate career. The freshman finished tied for 20th place at -3 overall, grabbing the second top-25 finish of the season.
 
After posting two under-par rounds on Monday, Vanessa Gilly carried her momentum into the final round, birdying six holes to shoot -2 (70) on the day, marking her eighth round of par or better this season. The junior finished tied for 20th place at -3 overall, recording the second-best finish (relative to par) of her career. The Caracas, Venezuela, native's best career finish came from the SEC Championship in 2020-21, where she shot -6 on a par 72 course. Gilly's performance also marks her third top-25 finish of the season, the sixth of her career.
 
Manassanan Chotikabhukkana also had a strong showing on Tuesday, notching six birdies to shoot -2 (70) in the third round, marking her tenth round of par or better this season. The freshman tied for 55th place at +4 overall. Angela Arora, a freshman appearing in her second collegiate outing, carded a 71 in the final round to tie for 64th place at +6 overall, recording her second round of par or better.
 
Junior Kayla Holden shot +5 (77) in the final round and finished tied for 70th place at +9 overall. Graduate Emily Hawkins, who competed as an individual, carded a 77 (+5) in the third round to finish the tournament tied for 78th place at +11 overall.
