Cub Scout Oliver Sandidge honors deputies
Cub Scout Oliver Sandidge from Pack 398 delivered more than 30 gift cards to Sheriff’s Office K9 Deputy Michael Romans to distribute to patrol deputies.
Oliver was inspired after Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Jonathan Pope spoke to the scouts and Oliver wanted to support the deputies. He raised the money to pay for the gift cards he donated.
“We appreciate you in the community,” Oliver told Romans.
The donations were part of the Cub Scouts’ Community Service Project.
Oliver, 8, is a second grade student at Wilson Elementary School.
