Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Murfreesboro Police Department officers were honored during Law Enforcement Appreciation Day at Higher Grounds Worship Center.
Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh and his wife, Janice, Chief Deputy Keith Lowery and Sgt. Gary Herron attended a service Aug. 26 at the Church.
Pastor Andrae Crimson and his wife, Crystal, and church members presented the officers with gift bags and cupcakes to show their appreciation.
Sgt. Herron spoke to the church in a speech titled, “Through it All.”
Sheriff Fitzhugh and the deputies thank the members of Higher Grounds Worship Center for their gifts.
