Sheriff's deputies and police support Special Olympians during Law Enforcement Torch Run
Athletes competing in the annual Special Olympics Monday in Rutherford County were greeted by a team of sheriff's school resource officers, deputies, a Franklin Police officer, a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper and a Murfreesboro Police Officer riding his horse, Blue.
The torch run signifies law enforcement support of the Special Olympians who are competing Monday and Tuesday in the annual track and field meet at MTSU.
